BlackBox Foundation Proudly Presents:

Run For Your Wife (Ages 18+)

This classic British farce follows the misadventures of John Smith — a London cab driver who just so happens to have two wives living in different parts of the city. For years, he’s managed to keep his double life a secret… until one fateful incident turns his carefully planned schedule into complete chaos.

With fast-paced dialogue, door-slamming confusion, and outrageous coincidences, Run for Your Wife promises an evening of nonstop laughter and farcical fun.

Based on the DreamWorks Animation motion picture and the Broadway musical, Disney’s Shrek Jr. brings the beloved ogre’s story to life with spectacular songs, outrageous humor, and an inspiring message about friendship, self-acceptance, and the beauty in being different.

Follow Shrek as he embarks on a daring quest to rescue Princess Fiona from a dragon-guarded tower—with a talkative donkey by his side and a villainous Lord Farquaad standing in his way. Filled with big laughs, unforgettable characters, and plenty of swampy charm, Shrek Jr. is a fun-filled show for the whole family!

Saturday, 01/03/2025 – Vocal Auditions (10am–2pm) Must schedule an audition time. More information about time slots will be sent out at a later date.

All auditioning must have the following prepared:

30 seconds of a song to perform in front of the production team

A 20–30 second monologue to perform for the production team

A printed headshot (preferably 4x6 size). If one is not provided, a member of the production staff will take a photo after the audition.

Sunday, 01/04/2025 – Call Backs (2pm–5pm) Everyone is requested to attend the entire callback audition.

All auditioning must have the following for callbacks:

Close-toed shoes (jazz shoes or ballet flats preferred)

Comfortable clothing easy to move in (no skirts or dresses, please)

A water bottle

The Lightning Thief (Ages 13–19)

This is an audition-based production. Not all who audition will be cast. Casting is selective and based on the needs of the production. If you are offered a role and you choose to accept it, a $50 registration fee will be due at that time. (See contact info below for registration scholarship information)

Percy Jackson is about to discover that being a half-blood is more dangerous than he ever imagined. Based on the best-selling novel by Rick Riordan and adapted into a thrilling rock musical, The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical follows Percy and his friends on a quest to recover Zeus’s stolen lightning bolt and prevent an all-out war among the gods.

Filled with electrifying songs, humor, and heart, this high-energy adventure celebrates friendship, courage, and finding your place in the world—even when the odds (and the monsters) are against you.

Must schedule an audition time. Additional information about time slots will be sent at a later date.
