Join BlackBox Foundation for our upcoming production of Buggy Boogie! This playful and heartwarming original musical invites audiences into a lively meadow filled with music, friendship, and adventure. Featuring energetic dance numbers, colorful characters, and plenty of fun, Buggy Boogie is a celebration of teamwork, creativity, and community. We are excited to welcome performers who are enthusiastic, collaborative, and ready to help bring this whimsical world to life.

Saturday, 06/27/2026 – Vocal Auditions (10am–4pm) Must schedule an audition time. More information about time slots will be sent out at a later date.

All auditioning must have the following prepared:

30 seconds of a song to perform in front of the production team

A 20–30 second monologue to perform for the production team

A printed headshot (preferably 4x6 size). If one is not provided, a member of the production staff will take a photo after the audition.

Sunday, 06/28/2026 – Call Backs (2pm–5pm) Everyone is requested to attend the entire callback audition.

All auditioning must have the following for callbacks:

Close-toed shoes (jazz shoes or ballet flats preferred)

Comfortable clothing easy to move in (no skirts or dresses, please)

A water bottle

This is the B Cast registration. Below are the dates and times for this casting. Please review all Cast A information before registering your child.

Rehearsals:

Wednesdays 5:30-7:30pm

Saturdays 1-3pm

July 8, 11, 15, 18, 22, 25, 29,

August 1, 5, 8, 12, 15, 19, 22, 26, 29

Attendance Policy:

All known conflicts must be submitted in advance

Cast members are expected to attend all rehearsals

Tech week and performances are mandatory

Cast members are allowed up to two unexcused absences

We are looking for performers who are committed, collaborative, and professional throughout the rehearsal process.

Schedules, updates, and materials will primarily be distributed through email, with text messaging used for urgent communication.
