The BlackBox Foundation is proud to announce its next youth theatre production:

Frozen Junior

The enchanting modern classic from Disney is ready for your Broadway Junior stars! Frozen JR. is based on the 2018 Broadway musical, and brings Elsa, Anna, and the magical land of Arendelle to life, onstage. The show features all of the memorable songs from the animated film, with music and lyrics by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, plus five new songs written for the Broadway production.

A story of true love and acceptance between sisters, Frozen JR. expands upon the emotional relationship and journey between Princesses Anna and Elsa. When faced with danger, the two discover their hidden potential and the powerful bond of sisterhood. With a cast of beloved characters and loaded with magic, adventure, and plenty of humor, Frozen JR. is sure to thaw even the coldest heart! 

For kids 7-18. 

There are a limited number of roles, all who register will be cast, but we do recommend registering early to make sure you have a spot. Cast will be responsible for providing own costume.

Don't like being on stage? We also are casting for set design/build, stage hand, and technical support.

Auditions:

November 11th, 10am to 2pm at the BlackBox Theatre.

Rehearsals:

November 14, 16, 18, 21, 25, 28, 30

December  2, 5, 7, 9, 12, 14, 16, 19, 21, 28, 30

Tuesday and Thursday rehearsals are from 5:30pm to 7pm. Saturday rehearsals are from 10am to 1pm. All cast may not be required at every rehearsal. (Depending on character)

TECH Week: Janurary 2, 3, 4 (5pm - 7:30pm)

Dress Rehearsal: Janurary 5th (5pm - 8:30pm)

Show dates: Janurary 6th (2pm & 7pm) 7th (2pm) 12th (7pm)

13th (7pm) 14th (2pm)

Cast Party: January 14th (post-strike to 7pm)
