Join BlackBox Foundation for our upcoming production of The Addams Family Musical! This delightfully dark and hilarious musical invites audiences into the wonderfully weird world of the Addams family, where love, family, and embracing what makes us unique take center stage. Featuring unforgettable characters, exciting musical numbers, comedy, and heart, The Addams Family is a celebration of creativity, confidence, and the joy of performing together.

Auditions:

Sunday, 08/09/2026  (2:00 PM–4:00 PM)

All those auditioning must prepare a 30 second monolouge and 30 seconds of a song.

A link for audition slots (15 minute time frames) will be sent out to you when we are closer to auditions. 

Virtual and video auditions are available. (Please contact the director)

All who audition will be cast!

Callbacks:

Sunday 08/16/2026  (2:00pm-6:00pm)

Those auditioning will be sent home with a "callback packet" this will include music selections from the production, scenes, and short dance numbers. Students have a week to practice these selections and may be asked to prefrom them at the callbacks. 

Cast members must attend the full callback time. Please reach out to the director if accomodations need to be made.

This is the Cast A registration. Please review all Cast A information before registering.

Rehearsals:

Not ever cast member will be called to every rehearsal.

Cast members will recieve a schedule with their cast list. This will have all rehearsals and who is called to which rehearsals. Please let the stage manager know immediatly if you have any conflicting dates with said schedule.

All rehearsals will be held from 5:30 PM–8:00 PM unless otherwise noted.

August 18, 20, 21, 23 (2:00 PM–4:00 PM), 25, 27, 28

September 4, 6 (2:00 PM–4:00 PM), 14, 15, 17, 29

October 1, 6, 8, 9

Tech Rehearsals:

5:30-8pm

October 12, 13, 14, 15

Attendance Policy:

All known conflicts must be submitted in advance

Cast members are expected to attend all called rehearsals

Tech week and performances are mandatory

Cast members are allowed up to two unexcused absences

We are looking for performers who are committed, collaborative, and professional throughout the rehearsal process.

Schedules, updates, and materials will primarily be distributed through email, with text messaging used for urgent communication.
