Teen Theater Camp
with Emmi Rakoci
BlackBox Foundation is proud to present:
2026 Teen Theater Intensive
Step behind the scenes and into the spotlight with our Teen Theatre Intensive! Designed for students in grades 9–12 (including those exiting 9th grade through recently graduated seniors), this exciting 8-day program invites participants to dive into all aspects of theatre while working toward a full production of Between the Lines.
Camp will run June 22, 23, 24, 25, 29, 30, and July 1 & 2, with daily hours from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Performances will take place at 4:00 PM on July 2 and July 3. All sessions will be held at 407 N. Sacaton St., Casa Grande, AZ 85122.
This hands-on experience goes far beyond acting—campers will explore set building, technical theatre, visual art, leadership, directing, and collaborative storytelling. Throughout the program, students will also benefit from daily presentations and workshops led by professional actors, directors, and performers, offering real-world insight and mentorship.
Students will gain practical theatre skills as they help bring the show to life from the ground up, learning how every element—from scenery to stage management—comes together to create a production.
Whether they’re on stage or behind the scenes, each participant will have the opportunity to grow as a performer, artist, and leader. Campers are required to bring their own lunches each day, and a snack will be provided.
Perfect for passionate and curious teens alike, this intensive fosters creativity, confidence, teamwork, and a deeper appreciation for the magic of theatre.
